Sally Turner's Biography
Sally Turner is my name and performing is my game. Since a young age I have craved performing in any arena, from eistedfords, to school plays. At high school, St Vincent’s College I was able to truly flourish as a performer; on stage and also in Public speaking. I knew my path was clear, and my destiny was sealed.
In 2005 I was accepted as an arts student at the prestigious Sydney University. In 2008 I proudly graduated with an Arts degree, with a double major in Performance Studies, and Sociology. University taught me discipline and enriched my life through knowledge. I also knew that I held the power to achieve any goals I may persue.
In 2008 I also started a short course in TV Presenting at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts) under the tuition of leading coaches Faye De Lanty and Nick Piper. What this course gave me was the direction in which my life would then follow. The goal was set – to be a working television presenter by 2010.
Since completing that course I have continued to work with Nick on projects with his company – Onion Media.
I am now a student of Max Rowley Media Academy, and have enjoyed pushing both my writing and presenting skills under his guidance.
In November of 2008 I secured my first presenting job – for the fashion company ‘ Face Fashion’. This involved vox pop backstage, interviewing sponsors, guests and models. An exhilarating and valuable experience. And I look forward to working with Face Fashion more in the future.
I am an original character with a lot to offer the television world. I am dedicated and above all hard working. Nothing can stop me from achieving my goals.
